COMCONSULO: A Consideration of Surveillance, Art, and Communal Roles

In consideration of why people attend public events one cannot overlook the essential ‘To See and Be Seen’ rationale. This gives rise to a serendipitous intersection of ideas to be explored: Those of observation, surveillance, and the role of art as a communicative instrument. We may draw in viewers to explore the blurry line that occurs when observation takes place within a community context-- and can become surveillance-- which may cross the line into public secrecy.
